Drupal is hard, but it doesn’t have to be hard for you.

For a novice, setting up a Drupal site can be an intimidating experience.  This has led to Drupal having a reputation as hard, complicated, confusing, even frightening.

Fortunately, there are ways to prevent a negative experience.  This presentation goes over how to find a guide that will lead you through the thorny barriers of Drupal - allowing you to concentrate on what your site does, not how it does it.

The target audience for this presentation is managers that would be hiring site administrators, and site administrators that are in over their heads.  Time allowing, I will go over:

  • Functionality already available in YaleSites
  • Getting help from OPAC
  • Hiring a Drupal “expert”
